How To Apply Make Up When Wearing Glasses
By admin | September 18, 2008
I already have my foundation powder on, because how you apply it is the same, whether you wear glasses or not. I am just going to apply… concealer now, its basically it’s the same way that you apply concealer when you don’t wear glasses, but I like to use little illuminating concealer, because as you can see what I look like, all right its not very bright circles today, but it can magnify when you are looking through the lens. So, you want to use an illuminating concealer, just look for the word illuminating on the label. This one is at your skin, a radiant booster pen which I really like, but it’s kind of expensive, so you go to the drug store, just look for illuminating concealer. I just want to put it right under your eyes and in dark spot right here, right under and then right in the corner here. You don’t need a lot with illuminating, it not going to give you any color, it just puts a little bit of top of the makeup, and that’s the way it is, so too light reflecting so that it looks lighter. When the light bounces off the area, it got to be looking darker. So, I think I am doing this properly, I can’t see, because I don’t wear my glasses. There you go, yeah. This side looks much better than this side. So, you can still see the darkness, with the light reflection, I don’t know if you can see it, I can’t see anything, but this side the light is reflecting right off, which is exactly what we want. So, we have got our concealer on and to the eyes illuminating.
Now we are going to work on the brows, because your brow an important feature when you are wearing glasses, because they usually top your glasses, so you want you brows to be in good shape. So, you are going to comb them, I am going to comb hair with them and you going to fill them in with a pencil or a brow powder or a gel, whatever you like to use. I am just going to fill mine with the slash box brow. I guess you come with a little bit of shimmer, not necessarily sparkle, just shimmer, just to kind of light up behind the glasses and they usually just use mid tone eye-shadow. I am going to using the benefit cream shadow liner, which is from their spring wedding. Of course it sort of just like dusty rose color. I am going to use it, try it, I attempt that without seeing what I am doing, so I am just using a cream brush, you can use your finger if you want. You can use really close to the mirror. We don’t have your glasses or contacts. You just put all over the and then I am just going to blend it with my finger, blend it up… so there we go and do the same thing on the other side. Applying shadow when you can’t see what you are doing, I think important really go close into the mirror and make sure that you have applied it right along the lash line, because lot of times after that I got like a big spot missing and I go back in with my brush or with the powder or whatever you are using. Make sure that you got right along the lash, now because it’s really easy to sort of hide those skipped marks where you… you are doing, because you can’t see. So, there we go, there is the eye-shadow.
Now I am just going to put on mascara, I am just going to do the same way. Really, really, really close to the mirror. You don’t want to get your lashes too long, because it might can hit your glasses, depending on how long your lashes are. So, just put on some… a medium amount of mascara, you don’t need to wan that up too much, because the glasses are still going to magnify those lashes. Okay, I just need to add… just a little bit more lightness under my eye. It still a little bit dark, so I am just going to use which is a MAC pigment in vanilla, you can use any shimmery powder shadow that you want. I can put on with an eyeliner brush. Again going very close to mirror, it’s just because I have some darkness going on today. I just want to make it up under my eye. I am just putting it in the inner corner here and so that go along the lash and so I hope this is working out for me, but I can’t see it. It looks all right.
Right, so I put on my glasses again. Yeah, that’s better, because there were still some darkness, I just added a little bit underneath and it just sort of lifts the whole area and you don’t need lot of eyeliner when you are wearing your glasses, because that can magnify, but if you are going out at night, you might want add some, but for the day time just mid tone eye-shadow have to degrease mascara and if you needed a little bit of lighter sparkle under the eye to lift and brighten and there you go, there is our quick, easy how to apply makeup for glasses or contact lenses.
